How to Connect to VPN using Cisco Secure Client

1. Open the Client Login Window by going to the bottom right task tray and clicking the up arrow. (Next to the clock)

2.) You will see the server address window. It will either be blank if this is your first time connecting or it will say city of Germantown

If this is First time logging in or its been awhile and you see that this field is populated with “city of Germantown” go ahead and copy this address in and then click Connect

3.) Click Connect

4.) A Username / Password Prompt will popup, enter your PC login credentials (Same one you use everyday)

Only caveat here is sometimes you need to put this in front of your username if it wont let you log in or gives an error. 

(Add “germantown\” before username)

example:
username: germantown\grogers

5.) Once you click log in, You need to open your phone and Duo Mobile app as you will be prompted to approve the connection.

Once Duo Multifactor authentication is accepted the connection will establish and you will have access to the City network.
